The vision of the Excelsior Healthcare Academy is to achieve regional and national eminence as a leader of excellence in healthcare education, research, practice, service, and community outreach.


The faculty and staff of EHA function in a spirit of mutual respect in dealing with others at all levels (administration, colleagues, faculty, students, and community). This respect is illustrated by the following behaviors:

Excelsior Healthcare Academy is approved by the Illinois Board of Higher Education, located at 1 N. Old State Capitol Plaza, Suite 333, Springfield, Illinois  62701.

“Excelsior Healthcare Academy is not accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.”

The school does not guarantee the transferability of credits to another school, college, or university.  Credits or coursework are not likely to transfer; any decision on the comparability, appropriateness, and applicability of credit and whether credit should be accepted is the decision of the receiving institution.
